Sword and Shield.

Isn't it nice that you can love someone for who they are? Like, you know they won't be perfect because no one is. But for you, that person is just everything you ever wanted to complete your life. There are times when you feel like that person might not be the one, that he might hurt you one day but then your heart tells you that it's never going to happen because he is the one. He is what you will need at the darkest times, on the brightest day. He is the only one who will be there when you are at your worst and when you are at your best. It's wonderful how your heart can be so sure of something that your mind has doubts about. Someone I really love once said, "No matter what, always listen to your heart. Because your mind knows everyone and everything but your heart knows only you."

The following poem is something I wrote yesterday because I just had this sudden urge to tell him how much I want to hold my hopes high because of him and how bad I want to lose the uncertainty that's lying around him and me. But, then again, uncertainty makes you want to give up, it's a test to see how long you can stay here and how long you can be faithful to the promise you made to your heart about waiting, about reaching the other side after fighting with all the questions, all the obstacles and surviving this war inside you. I think uncertainty tests your patience and I guess patience is most important in all things but especially in love. So, I say if you are in love, then be honest with it. Be honest with your heart, your emotions, your doubts and embrace them. Because it's okay to be unsure about things. Just keep faith in the things which are yet to happen.

Remember, there's always hope in hopeless moments if you really look for it. Because my darling, the universe sends you exactly what and who you truly need when you need them.

Sword and Shield.

I felt the stars aligned
When I found you,
It seemed like I solved
Every query I ever wanted to.

I saw the moon and
I told it about us with tears in my eyes,
It said, wait for a while
And told me you're worth this fight.

I just hope I'll find you next to me
When I'll be needing you,
I wish I could just be there to hold you
And tell you that you deserve the world.

I don't know how or why of all this
I don't know how long it'll take,
Just the way you smile when you're happy
Is something which won't let me quit.

First look at you and
I knew to my heart only you'll have the keys.
Even though it's getting harder than I thought,
The faith I have in my heart for us is my sword and shield.

So it's alright,
I'll survive this war.
After all, I believe
You are on the other side.

There are not enough words
To tell you how much I love you,
But oh, I know when it'll be the right time
My eyes will tell you everything you want to know.

Two Different Worlds...

Two Different Worlds. We live in two different worlds,  Miles and miles away from each other.  Looking at the same moon,  But under different time, different weather.  Do you ever think of a place? That lives in the deepest part of your mind...  A place that has been reserved For you and the one, you are yet to find? Million questions like these I tell the moon to ask you for me.  Still every night, it comes with no answers Says you never gave it a chance to speak.  I wonder what  You must be telling the moon.  Will you tell me those things When I'll meet you? Him...

You know everyone has their moment of weakness... Where they feel their heart breaking.. Where all voices around them just disappear and the voice inside keeps getting higher. Screaming and fighting for something that's not worth those tears, those protests.. I remember the time I had one of those moments.. At that time, I wasn't crying nor I was angry.. I was hurt, I was numb. I guess, I was naive. Some truths are better left unsaid. Because even if telling those to someone will make you feel relieved.. There still are some chances that the person whom you told all your truths, your secrets can backfire you. And lies... Well, who doesn't lie? Even me, right now telling you all this stuff.. I know I'm hiding something big behind each and every small word. And only I am able to figure it out.. No one else.
